Aurobindo Pharma gets tentative FDA approval for quinapril

Indian drug maker Aurobindo Pharma had been granted tentative approval from the FDA for its hypertension and congestive heart failure drugs.

The company’s quinapril hydrochloride and hydrochlorothiazide tablets are the generic equivalents of Pfizer’s Accupril and Accuretic tablets.

The approval is listed on the FDA’s website, although the company has yet to issue a press release.
