The harmful active pharmaceutical ingredients include diclofenac sodium and methocarbamol.
Reumofan Plus, labeled in Spanish, is used for treating arthritis, muscle pain, osteoporosis, bone cancer, and other conditions.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has also alerted the consumers against the drug after receiving multiple reports of adverse events associated with the use of Reumofan Plus including liver injury, sudden worsening of glucose control, weight gain, swelling, leg cramps, and adrenal suppression.
FDA said these harmful ingredients may also interact with other medications and result in serious adverse events.
