Bioponic says turmeric product may treat Alzheimer’s

Bioponic Phytoceuticals has reported research suggesting its Curecumin product may be an important treatment for Alzheimer's disease.

Curecumin is a bioresonant phytotherapeutic form of turmeric. UCLA/VA researchers found that curcumin, an active compound found in turmeric, may help the immune system clear the brain of the amyloid beta plaques found in Alzheimer's disease patients.

Recently published in the Journal of Alzheimer's disease, the findings may lead to a new approach in treating Alzheimer's disease by enhancing the natural function of the immune system using curcumin, known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.

“We are particularly interested in the potential of our Curecumin nasal spray to deliver its benefits directly to the brain through the nasal cavity. If proven effective, we may have an efficacious, cost effective, natural treatment for the millions of Alzheimer's sufferers, and for those who seek to prevent the disease,” said Steven Schorr, chairman & CEO, Bioponic Phytoceuticals.
