The engineering optimization and formulation service will leverage the technologies developed with big pharmaceutical companies.
The company has developed the spray-dried dispersion (SDD) technology in partnership with Pfizer.
Bend spokesperson Phoenix Rivers told Outsourcing-pharma.com that the service will include a number of other formulation and processing tools intended to cater for a range of possible customer needs.
"Some firms may need help solving a problem related to bioprocess engineering, such as bioreactor modelling, scale up or plant design," Rivers added.
