The new Twinlab Bariatric Support line is formulated to address the nutritional needs of bariatric surgery patients and support them in their efforts to live a healthy lifestyle.
All Bariatric Support products are formulated to have a sugar content appropriate for bariatric surgery patients with no added preservatives and artificial colors, the company said.
The Bariatric Support line helps patients’ meet the daily requirements for several nutrients, protein, iron, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin D.
Twinlab EVP and chief science officer Greg Grochoski said the company’s flavorful selection of nutrient-dense powders, liquids, and chewable and quick-dissolve micro tablets are of good quality without sacrificing on taste.
"We continue to work hard at formulating products that will provide bariatric surgery patients with an increasingly robust offering of products, flavors and delivery forms," Grochoski added.
