Under the agreements, Bio-Connect has gained exclusive rights to sell protein kinases in Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, and KinaseDetect has gained the rights to sell protein kinases in the Scandinavian countries.
Utilizing proprietary technologies and know-how on gene cloning, active protein expression and protein purification, Carna Biosciences has produced more than 240 protein kinases. Pure and highly active kinases are prerequisite for pharmaceutical companies developing kinase inhibitors.
“With powerful marketing and sales channels which Bio-Connect and KinaseDetect have established, we are able to quickly expand sales of protein kinases in the region,” said Kohichiro Yoshino, president and CEO of Carna Biosciences.
