Omnicell, a provider of automated solutions for healthcare systems has reported revenues of $62.9m for the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2011, a rise of 9.9% or $5.7m as compared to the corresponding quarter in 2010.

The revenue for the quarter has witnessed a decline by $1.5m or 2.3% as compared to the third quarter of 2011.
The revenue for the year ended 31 December 2011 was $245.5m, up $23.1m or 10.4% from the year ended 31 December 2010.
The net income for the quarter stood at $4.1m as reported in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), indicating a rise from $0.7m in the corresponding period of 2010.
For the year ended 31 December 2011, net income was $10.4m as compared to net income of $4.9m for the year ended 31 December 2010.
