Greatbatch and Integrated Sensing Systems have entered into an agreement to collaboratively develop miniature wireless implantable sensing solutions.

The companies plan to design, develop and manufacture solutions, which include sensors and delivery products, to support targeted markets enabling the advancement of patient care. These products will enhance the treatment of clinical indications such as congestive heart failure, traumatic brain injury and glaucoma.
The wireless solutions will later be be commercialized in partnership with original equipment manufacturer medical device manufacturers servicing the cardiac rhythm management, neurosurgical, neuromodulation, ophthalmology and orthopedic markets.
