Semler plans Asian expansion with ACA

Semler Research Center of India, a part of Part of US-based Semler Group of Companies, has announced that it will expand its operations across Asia by introducing the 'Asia CRO Alliance.' (ACA).

ACA is a network of CROs (contract research organization) originating from Asia, which has established its presence in six Asian countries, pr.efytimes.com reported.

ACA is said to make use of the combined experiences of six CROs including Shanghai SLG CRO (China), SRD /SRD International (Japan), Semler Research Centre (India), LSK Global Pharma Services (South Korea), Veras Research (Malaysia) and StatPlus (Taiwan).

The alliance is believed to offer knowledge-based contract research, medical marketing and consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries across the globe.

Semler Research Center Clinical Development vice president Jayanti Gupta said ACA would help leverage drug development programs in many countries.

"With this alliance, we continue our strategic expansion into key geographies around the world," Gupta added.
