Nipro to invest in JMI Pharma in Bangladesh

Japan-based Nipro has announced to invest in JMI Pharma, a pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh.

Following the deal, the company will develop new drugs with its manufacturing technique of pharmaceutical products and hopes to strengthen domestic sales in Bangladesh.

On completion of the transaction, JMI Pharma will change its name to Nipro JMI Pharma, the company said.

According to Nipro, the pharmaceutical products’ market in Japan is growing at the rate of 15 % every year and a rise is expected from now.
