The products include Glucerna Hunger Smart shakes and bars, which comprise carbohydrate blend, carbsteady which includes both low glycemic and slowly-digestible carbohydrates that reduce blood sugar spikes.
Glucerna Hunger Smart contains 180 calories, 15 grams of protein, 6 grams of sugars and are fortified with 25 vitamins and minerals, while the snack bars has 140-150 calories, 10 grams besides carbsteady.
According to a study conducted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), use of meal replacements like Glucerna shakes and bars aid weight loss, besides improving blood glucose levels and cardiovascular risk factors.
