Teva, Dr. Reddy’s introduce generic version of Zyprexa

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories have jointly introduced Olanzapine Tablets.

Olanzapine Tablets are generic forms of Eli Lilly’s Zyprexa used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Teva has formulated Olanzapine Tablets in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg and 15 mg.

Dr. Reddy’s has formulated Olanzapine Tablets in 20 mg and it has been granted with a 180-day period of marketing exclusivity in the US.

Upon exipiration of the 180-day exclusivity period, Dr. Reddy’s will launch Teva’s 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg and 20 mg of Olanzapine tablets.
