news.TPP Global Development and the University of Dundee have entered a collaboration agreement with the support of the Scottish Funding Council (SFC), to establish a drug development fund to support drug discovery.

The fund will support the translation of life sciences research into early phase drug discovery and development projects.
Furthermore, the data packages generated around these projects will show the appropriate disease model-based validation which would attract licensing partners from the pharmaceutical industry.
The fund is believed to combine the core competencies of TPP with the chemoinformatics modelling and early stage drug discovery expertise of the University of Dundee.
