SCA takes over Micronics

US-based Sony Corporation of America (SCA), a subsidary of Sony, has purchased the assests of Micronics.

The acquisition allows Sony to boost up its own research and development, particularly for Point of Care diagnostic equipment and also to commercialize these products.

Micronics will become SCA’s subsidiary and will work with the Sony’s life sciences R& D team to combinely develop new products and technologies.
