HSA terminates Jayson Pharma OTC fever drug

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) in Singapore, has terminated the sale of Jayson Pharmaceuticals' over-the counter (OTC) medicine Zerin tablets (Paracetamol) indicated for relief of fever and pain.

The drug is being distributed by Ziwell Medical in Singapore.

Following HSA’s decision, all sales and distribution of Zerin tablets have been discontinued from the public healthcare institutions, private medical clinics and pharmacies.

The tests conducted by HSA’s laboratories have shown that the foreign particles are inert, non-toxic substances and assessed to pose minimal risk to consumers.
