news.US based contract research firm Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) has appointed Raymond Hill as the new CEO, effective 16 September.

Prior to joining PPD, Hill worked with IMS Health as the president of IMS Consulting Group.
Before IMS, Hill served as the senior vice president for Acumen Sciences.
He held several roles in eight years at AT Kearney, including global head, pharmaceuticals and health care practice, in which he led the creation of the practice and hired the team of health care professionals.
PPD executive chairman Fred Eshelman said Hill’s consistent track record of business success and disciplined approach to operational and financial performance make him well suited for their CEO role.
