McLaren Group has agreed to share its engineering, technology, analytics and strategy modelling capabilities with GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) global businesses - Manufacturing, Research and Development (R&D) and Consumer Healthcare.

Under the deal, the companies will establish a learning facility – ‘McLaren GSK Centre for Applied Performance’ – to develop UK engineering skills and processes.
Employees from both organizations and business partners will be able to use the facility to share ideas and collaborate on joint working projects.
McLaren Group and McLaren Automotive executive chairman Ron Dennis said specifically, their intention is that GSK will harness McLaren’s Formula 1-bred technology, processes to enhance its performance across a wide variety of its divisions in a way that none of its competitors can match.
