American Pacific Q3 revenues surge

American Pacific, a custom manufacturer of fine chemicals, has reported revenues of $51.92m for the third quarter ended 30 June 2011, compared to $37.25m for the same period in 2010.

American Pacific’s net loss was $6.16m or $0.82 loss per diluted share, as compared to net loss of $4.57m or $0.61 loss per for the same period in the prior year.

The company’s operating income was $4.27m for the third quarter ended 30 June 2011, compared to $3.62m for the same period in 2010.

For the nine months ended 30 June 2011 revenues were $128.96m, compared to $130.71m for the same period in 2010.

Net loss was $10.1m, or $1.46 loss per diluted share for the nine months ended 30 June 2011, compared to $4.9m or $0.65 loss per diluted share for the same period prior year.

For the nine months ended 30 June 2011, the company’s operating income was $7.8m, as compared to $1.96m for the same period in 2010.
