news.PharmStar Pharmaceuticals, a US based drug development, manufacturing and marketing company, has acquired a new CGMP facility, located in Wilson, North Carolina, to manufacture the company's primary product Aquaprin plus other line extensions.

Aquaprin, a liquid derivative of aspirin, is the US Food and Drug Administration approved over-the-counter (OTC) liquid pain reliever.
PharmStar Pharmaceuticals claims the product is designed to dissolve nearly instantly in just 1.5 ounces of water, which can be absorbed into the bloodstream up to 10 times faster than traditional OTC pain relievers, and with little to no stomach upset.
PharmStar, which will be moving into the new facility immediately, intends to launch the product within the next 12 to 14 months.
