China Shenghuo sees 19% rise in Q1 sales

China Shenghuo, a developer of Sanchi-based medicinal and pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement and cosmetic products, has reported sales of $9.4m for the first quarter ended 31 March 2011, an increase of 19 %, compared to $7.91m for the same period in 2010.

China Shenghuo’s net income was $85,701, or $0.01 per diluted share, compared to net income of $13,825, or $0.00 per diluted share, for the comparable period last year.

For the first quarter of 2011, the company’s income from operations was $407,564, compared to $12,825 for the same period in 2010.

The company has earned gross profit of $5.64m, as compared to $5.83m for the same period prior year.
