Eisai Brazil will establish an initial infrastructure to support its operations debut into the Brazilian market.
Eisai New Markets and ASEAN president Hajime Shimizu said the establishment of Eisai Brazil marks their entry into Latin America.
"In keeping with Eisai’s human health care (hhc) mission to satisfy unmet medical needs and contribute to the health and well-being of people worldwide, this expansion will enable them to introduce many of Eisai’s products to people living in Brazil," Shimizu said.
Eisai Inc’s areas of commercial focus include neurology, gastrointestinal disorders and oncology/critical care.
The company serves as the US pharmaceutical operation of Eisai Co, a research-based human health care (hhc) company that discovers, develops and markets products throughout the world.
