GSK to deploy Medidata Designer

The designer is expected to help GSK to design its studies that meet key objectives and collect necessary data in a streamlined and efficient manner.

Medidata claims that its Designer drives study design quality with a CDISC-compliant data model that enforces the links across objectives, end points and procedures.

Medidata Solutions president Glen de Vries said Medidata Designer help sponsors to work efficiently manage the process of study design, as well as bring efficiency to the actual design of their studies and downstream study execution.

"Using Designer’s cost and complexity benchmarking, along with its easy-to-use interface and protocol quality controls, GSK can eliminate unnecessary procedures and focus its efforts on the most important study objectives," Vries said.
