Oracle Health Sciences Enterprise Healthcare Analytics suite and Oracle Healthcare Master Person Index – along with Oracle Fusion Middleware components and Oracle Database 11g have been selected by Moffitt to form the foundation of new informatics solution because of its scalability and security.
Oracle claims that its new offering will deliver rapid and accurate analysis that reveals new insight around treatment effectiveness at an individual level.
Oracle Health Sciences senior vice president and general manager Neil de Crescenzo said to implement a new paradigm of care that enables more personalized and targeted treatments, health sciences organizations require new ways to effectively capture data and meaningfully analyze and reuse it.
Moffitt Cancer Center Information Services vice president and chief information officer Mark Hulse said Oracle’s solutions for health sciences, along with Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware, will enable them to surmount two fundamental health science informatics challenges – data integration and analysis – to identify predictive biomarkers that will lead to more personalized treatments for our patients.
