Bolton Medical’s NBS or non bare stent is a thoracic stent-graft with a proximal end configuration consisting of a sinusoidal nitinol stent covered with fabric. It gives surgeons another option, allowing them to achieve placement of the stent-graft in anatomies where a bare stent may not be optimal.
Currently the Relay NBS and Relay endovascular stents are indicated for the treatment of main thoracic aortic pathologies such as aneurysms, dissections, penetrating ulcers, pseudoaneurysms and intramural haematoma, in adult patients.
