ATSF and AxoGen announce tissue recovery partnership

As a result of the partnership, American Tissue Services Foundation (ATSF) will offer families the opportunity to donate peripheral nerves. Peripheral nerves facilitate communication of signals between the brain and other parts of the body.

Avance Nerve Graft is a peripheral nerve repair option that is comprised of donated human peripheral nerve tissue. With more than 100 implants, Avance Nerve Grafts have reportedly enabled recovery in patients with peripheral nerve injuries since 2007.

Avance Nerve Graft is unique from all other nerve repair options because it gives surgeons the ability to repair damaged peripheral nerves with allograft nerve without the need for a secondary surgical site and without the need for immunosuppressive medications.
