Braemar launches new monitoring device

Braemar, a subsidiary of Biotel, and a provider of ambulatory cardiac monitoring devices, has introduced the DL900, an advanced digital Holter monitor.

According to the company, the DL900’s advanced technology platform has the capacity to support numerous original equipment manufacturers capabilities, including multi parameter recording and data storage of a variety of physiological signals. The DL900 provides high-resolution recordings as well as high sampling rate options suitable for both clinical and research applications. A programmable pacemaker detection capability provides the clinician with additional data.

Braemar’s DL900 increases diagnostic yield and provides extended recording time of several days or more for clinical research applications. The device combines high speed universal serial bus transfer capability with the ability to use a removable secure digital memory card.

Harry Strandquist, president and CEO of Braemar, said: “Our partners are in the process of integrating this new device into their ambulatory cardiac monitoring product lines.”
