OCuSOFT has recently introduced OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus for moderate to severe eyelid conditions where bacterial involvement is suspected. It is strongly recommended by physicians as a pre-surgical prep or as an adjunct therapy for blepharitis and dry eye conditions.
According to the company, OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus has been formulated with a moisturizing agent that allows the patient to leave it on. This ‘leave on formula’ ensures prolonged contact and maximizes the bacterial time kill rate without rinsing. OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus is packaged in convenient pre-moistened pads and is also available in an instant foam pump dispenser.
Troy Smith, vice president of sales at OCuSOFT, said: “Even though patients can now purchase the product at CVS, as a convenience, doctors may still make OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus available to patients in their office.”
