Harrison’s Practice, developed by McGraw-Hill Professional, a global provider of information resources for the scientific and medical communities, was created by the editors of Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine. It is said to deliver essential information on the diagnosis and management of diseases and disorders. Practitioners can access this information within Lexi-Comp ONLINE, Lexi-Comp’s web-based solution.
Users can search the Harrison’s Practice database by topic or by symptom for diagnostic information, treatment guidelines, and ongoing care considerations. Seamless linking allows direct access to relevant drug information, related laboratory tests, and diagnostic procedures. The Harrison’s Practice database is also available for PDA and is included in Lexi-COMPLETE, Lexi-Comp’s premier PDA software package.
