news.DSG, a clinical software technology provider, has announced that Ovation Pharmaceuticals is using DSG's eCaseLink EDC software to conduct several Phase I clinical trials.

To date, Ovation has used eCaseLink for five Phase I studies, and has seven Phase I studies underway or planned for 2008 and six Phase I studies planned for 2009. DSG is one of Ovation’s preferred providers for EDC (electronic data capture) software for these studies.
Robert Anders, vice president of Ovation’s clinical operations, said: “We chose DSG’s eCaseLink for a number of our Phase I studies because it is very intuitive and user-friendly, and provides exceptionally clean data, as well as real-time data and monitoring. This translated directly into significant time and cost-savings for us. DSG supported very tight timelines for our Phase I studies.”
