Mannatech, NASKA North America campaign to raise awareness on malnutrition

The North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) and Mannatech, a developer and provider of nutritional supplements and skin care products, have teamed up to combat malnutrition along its 14-city tour of martial arts competitions.

The tour is part of a 2010 partnership between Mannatech and the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA).

The one-year North American campaign is scheduled to commence from 25 February 2011 at the Compete Nationals.

The aim is to raise awareness about the fight against malnutrition through student competitions, and top NASKA martial artists.

Mannatech co-CEO and chief science officer Robert Sinnott said the company, together with some of NASKA’s elite athletes will be able to educate people about the benefits of proper eating and a balanced diet while simultaneously working to alleviate malnutrition across the globe through its Give for Real program.

The Give for Real program is a ‘donation-through-consumption’ initiative which strives to help consumers and social entrepreneurs meet the needs of vulnerable malnourished children across the globe.
