Caliper Life Sciences appoints new CFO

Mr McAree previously served as vice president of finance at Caliper. Mr McAree is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley College.

The company has announced that Thomas Higgins will step down from the position of CFO, effective April 4, 2008. It also announced that Joseph Griffith IV, Caliper’s corporate controller, has been promoted and is assuming the role of vice president of finance.
