TraumaCure’s WoundStat found effective in wound treatment

The US Army Institute of Surgical Research, a ballistic injury research facility, has reported positive results of a study which demonstrated the efficacy of TraumaCure's WoundStat in the treatment of wounds.

WoundStat was 100% effective at stopping high- pressure arterial bleeding in severe wounds. In the comparative study to date, the ISR tested all leading products available and found WoundStat to be the only product resulting in 100% survival and achieving 100% hemostasis among animal test subjects. It also had the lowest blood loss, ultimately leaving the study subjects in the best possible clinical state, post-treatment.

WoundStat, a granular mix that comes in a lightweight pouch, is designed to meet every one of the US Army’s demanding standards. WoundStat is non-toxic and has no side effects, such as heat generation, that have plagued other products. It is said to work even in heparinized blood, and is effective in all temperatures.

TraumaCure anticipates that future products, based on the WoundStat technology, will become a staple for consumers too, making it into household and automobile first-aid kits, wilderness and sports backpacks, and other locations where there is potential for injury.
