HC Innovations and Aetna sign medical services contract

Under the terms of the contract, Aetna Medicare members residing in certain long-term care facilities in New Jersey will receive around-the-clock hands-on care by an on-site ECI nurse practitioner, supported by ECI’s proprietary electronic medical records system that allows for rapid documentation and capture of accurate diagnosis.

David Chess, CEO of HC Innovations, said: “This contract is based on the results of a pilot between ECI and Aetna which has been in place for over a year. The pilot proved that we could increase the quality of care provided to Aetna Medicare members residing in nursing homes, while lowering costs. The end results are improved care and lower costs.”
