Daiichi Sankyo and Lead Chemical receive Japanese approval for Loxonin

Daiichi Sankyo and Lead Chemical have received an approval for manufacturing and marketing of the percutaneous absorption-type analgesic and anti-inflammatory preparation, Loxonin tape 50mg/100mg, from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Loxonin tape is claimed to be the first loxoprofen sodium adhesive tape in Japan containing the same constituents as Loxonin pills and Loxonin powder.

The adhesive tape is expected to have superior analgesic and anti-inflammatory efficacy when applied once per day.
