The Wave System is said to accelerate lab throughput, enable intra-operative testing, and provide real-time pathology to requesting physicians. By repeatedly opening and closing slide segments, the patented Dynamic Replenishment Technology creates kinetic ‘waves’ which vigorously mix and refresh reagents. According to the company, this active recharging process continuously floods antigenic sites on the tissue with new waves of primary and secondary reagents, providing faster and more efficient biding, accelerating reaction times, and enabling unprecedented 15-minute IHC turnaround times.
