news.Covidien has reported that a federal jury has ruled in favor of the company in the patent litigation case Applied Medical Resources versus United States Surgical.

The jury ruled that United States Surgical, a Covidien subsidiary, does not infringe Applied Medical’s US patent related to trocar seal technology.
