The company strongly believes that many fundamental aspects of Hologic and Suros’s ATEC line of breast biopsy systems infringe Tissue Extraction Devices’s US patent. The company is seeking monetary damages for past infringement and an injunction to prohibit Hologic and Suros from continuing to infringe its patent.
