Genelux names new president

Genelux, a biopharmaceutical company that develops novel cancer therapies, has named Jodi Devlin as the president of the company, effective 10 January 2011.

Most recently, Devlin worked as the vice president of Abbott where she led Global Pipeline Marketing for all therapeutic areas, including oncology.

Devlin held positions as vice president of International Marketing, US Specialty Operations, Primary Care and Virology.

Genelux CEO founder chairman Aladar Szalay said that Devlin brings two decades of commercialization and executive management experience at one of the pharmaceutical companies to Genelux and has the vision and energy to help us realize the goals.

"Her proven leadership and management capabilities have prepared her well for this new challenge. She is a competent professional and knows how to bring a product successfully to market," Szalay said.
