Endologix receives approval to launch Powerlink System in Japan

Endologix has received Shonin approval from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the company will soon be initiating Powerlink System product shipments to Japan.

Endologix’s Powerlink System is an endoluminal stent graft for treating abdominal aortic aneurysms.

Paul McCormick, president and CEO of Endologix, said: “We will begin by shipping an initial stocking order in February to our Japanese distributor Cosmotec and expect that the first Powerlink System implants will be performed at the Tokyo Medical University Hospital.”
