Bayer HealthCare inks research pact with UCSF

Bayer HealthCare has entered into a master agreement and research partnership with the University of California, California, San Francisco (UCSF) and has also inaugurated a new Bayer Innovation Center in US.

Established in San Francisco’s Mission Bay life sciences hub, the new Innovation Center comprises of scientists who are working for Bayer‘s hematology research program which is focused on coagulation factors and the discovery of novel biologic drug candidates.

Bayer pharmaceutical division the board of management chairman Andreas Fibig said the master agreement with UCSF sets the stage for a long and successful public-private partnership which builds their pipeline and brings novel medicines to patients.
