news.Lupin has partnered with Farmanguinhos to supply its tuberculosis 4 in 1 combination drug (Rifampicin + Isoniazide + Ethambutol + Pyrazinamide).

As per the agreement, Lupin is expected to supply the tuberculosis drug to Farmanguinhos for next 5 years and will support the company in establishing a local manufacturing plant in future.
Both the companies have further decided to produce and supply the drug to the Department of Health (Brazil).
Lupin AAMLA & Business Development president Vinod Dhawan said that they believe that this agreement is a very important proactive step in providing comprehensive therapeutic care in the areas of conventional TB and MDR-TB, which are pandemic in nature.
