Ingenuity Systems is a provider of information solutions and custom services for life science researchers, computational biologists and bioinformaticists, and life science industry suppliers.
Geospiza CTO Todd Smith said that the promise of NGS is dependent on a researcher’s ability to quickly and accurately distill millions of reads and hundreds of datasets down to a manageable list of the most interesting and relevant genes.
"Our integration with IPA will accelerate drug discovery and ‘omics research pipelines by enabling NGS researchers to understand and visualize their data in the context of known biological processes, functions, diseases, pathways and relationships, through IPA’s powerful analysis capabilities and the timely, detailed information in the Ingenuity Knowledge Base," Smith said.
Ingenuity Systems CSO and CTO Doug Bassett said that IPA supports multiple data types, disease areas, and experimental platforms, and the GeneSifter and IPA integration continues to strengthen this focus by offering a complete and reliable platform for the analysis and interpretation of NGS data.
