news.Biofrontera has made the first shipment of Belixos, a medical cosmetic produced by Grunenthal Pharma for the care of itching and irritated skin such as in psoriasis or atopic dermatitis, to Middle East and North African countries (MENA) in October 2010.

Based on an exclusive license and distribution agreement mutually signed in March of this year between Biofrontera and Itrom Trading Drug Store in Dubai, half of the initial order of 30,000 Belixos tubes has now been delivered.
Biofrontera said that the other half, with a different labeling, is expected to be shipped within the coming weeks.
Belixos is expected to be initially introduced in the United Arabic Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and Jordan.
As per the terms of the license and distribution agreement the costs for the registration of Belixos in all these countries were covered by Itrom Trading Drug Store and the price of the tubes delivered by Biofrontera was determined in the license agreement between the two companies.
