Ranbaxy will be launching a generic version of Astellas’ Flomax urinary drug in March 2010. The news was reported by the chief financial officer on Thursday, stated Reuters.
Omesh Sethi, president of Ranbaxy, said: “Going forward we are going to have lot more. One we have already launched, March there is another.
“Then there is another big one coming in 2014, Nexium.”
Reportedly last month, Ranbaxy had launched generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s Valtrex with a 180-day marketing exclusivity in the US.
