eClinicalWorks' unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) system has been selected by the Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center of Iowa as a preferred ambulatory vendor for its primary care providers state-wide.

eClinicalWorks has received grant of $598m from the national REC program to establish 60 centers which is expected to bring together relation healthcare organizations, community health centers and group practices through sustainable two-year grants.
Kim Downs, senior director of operations at IFMC, said: “EHR selection can be a difficult task for providers when there are over 200 EHR products available in the marketplace. We selected eClinicalWorks because of its functionality and ability to assist our targeted providers in smaller primary care practices achieve meaningful use.”
