Keystone Folding Box Appoints New Director

Ward Smith to be responsible for development of compliance packaging

Keystone Folding Box has announced the appointment of new director for marketing. Ward Smith, new director, will be responsible for development of compliance packaging and applications for clinical and marketed prescription drug products in North America, Europe, and other emerging markets.

Wade Hartman, president of Keystone, said: “We are pleased to welcome Ward Smith to the Keystone team. His experience in clinical trials and compliance packaging give him a unique understanding of our objectives and make him ideally suited to market our line of patented solutions to the global pharmaceutical industry.”

Prior to joining Keystone, Smith worked as a compliance packaging specialist and clinical trial specialist at MeadWestvaco. Prior to this, he was executive director at the Atlanta Institute of Medicine and Research. Smith is also a member of the Drug Information Association, the Midwest Clinical Supply Group, and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering.

Keystone Folding Box manufactures and designs secure, compliant paperboard packaging including blister cards, heat-seal blister cards, folding boxes, specialty envelopes, and counter displays. The flagship product of Keystone is the Key-Pak F-1, a child-resistant, senior-friendly blister card.
