news.JHP Pharmaceuticals, a provider of contract manufacturing services for sterile injectables, vaccines, ophthalmics and otics, has signed a multi-year contract supply agreement with an undisclosed ophthalmic company.

As per the terms of the agreement, JHP is expected to take up the responsibility for manufacturing and supply of a proprietary ophthalmic product, which is targeted for launch next year.
Stuart Hinchen co-founder and president of JHP Pharma, said: “Our knowledgeable staff, approach to technology transfer and cGMP compliance record with the FDA, EMEA and ANVISA allows us to serve this important customer.
“We have a long history of successful partnerships, manufacturing both commercial products and products in development with experience taking products from clinical trial supplies to commercial manufacturing.”
JHP Pharmaceuticals’ sterile manufacturing facility, located in Rochester Michigan sits on over 80 acres of land and includes a 171,000sqft production building and 44,000sqft warehouse.
The production facility utilises five filling lines and seven lyophilizers. The site also includes separate facilities for chemistry, sterility testing, and analytical methods development.
