Schering-Plough Introduces ClaritinEye For Itchy Eyes

Schering-Plough has launched ClaritinEye, an antihistamine eye drop, for control of itchy eyes. The company claims that ClaritinEye, an over-the-counter product, works in minutes to relieve the itch of allergic eyes for up to 12 hours with just one drop.

John O’Mullane, group vice president of R&D at Schering-Plough Consumer Health Care, said: ClaritinEye relieves the itch at the source by blocking the histamine that causes itchy eyes. We’re excited to add this new allergy eye product to the line of non-drowsy Claritinallergy products.

To support the introduction of this new product, the company has planned to advertise and launch the product on the brand’s first official Facebook page.
