Glucan Corporation and Anderson Global Group (AGG) have entered into a partnership to introduce Polycan Black Yeast Beta Glucan for North American Dietary Supplement, Personal Care, Animal Care and Food industries.

According to Glucan and AGG Polycan is a clinically proved water soluble active compound which helps in maintaining good bone health and a healthy immune system. Polycan is fermented from a new strain of black yeast.
The combined multiple polysaccharides and beta-glucan 1,3/1,6 has provided positive health benefits in both areas, said the entities.
A randomised, double blind 12 weeks human clinical study involving 60 persons, showed significant benefit in the activation of key bone formation biomarker osteoblast and the suppression of key bone resorption biomarker osteoclast.
