Damage to the company’s chlorine electrolysis plant at the Brunsbuttel site has been repaired

With immediate effect, Bayer MaterialScience has lifted force majeure for the polyurethane raw material toluene diisocyanate (TDI) in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region.

The damage to the company’s chlorine electrolysis plant at the Brunsbuttel site has been repaired. The TDI facility with its total production capacity of 125,000 tons per year, has thus returned to normal production.
